Stations

By far the most common way of fixing idlers in a conveyor system is the use of bearing idler stations - smaller steel frames or frame structures with corresponding cutouts to accommodate the idlers, which are usually only inserted into these steel structures and are therefore also called "insert rollers".

The stations themselves are attached at defined intervals to the supporting steel structures of the conveyor. This allows for optimal alignment of the stations in a conveyor system.

The term "idler station" has many synonyms: idler chair, idler station, idler bracket, idler support, inset frame.
