Material procurement and cutting

The materials, semi-finished products and parts required for the manufacture of idlers are purchased according to appropriate standards and subjected to strict quality controls upon delivery. For many purchased materials, e.g. for the tubes, our own factory standards apply, which further restrict the specifications of the generally applicable standards and thus ensure even more precision or even higher quality of our products.

Only after approval of the quality assurance, the purchased goods are stored in one of our automated warehouses. We always keep the stock above a certain minimum required level, which allows us to shorten delivery times and offer more favorable conditions to our customers.

The cutting of semi-finished products (tubes, round bars, etc.) is carried out according to the order on automated powerful machines. After cutting, the sections are taken to the turning shop for the axes. The cut tubes are usually transported to the welding shop, whereupon they, after pressing and welding the roller bottoms, also find their way to the turning shop.
