Tracking idlers 

Tracking idlers are often also called self-centering idlers, self-aligning idlers, self-adjusting idlers or training idlers. They are used to counteract or eliminate the belt misalignment (also called belt mistracking) in belt conveyors for bulk material handling. 

Tracking idlers should be installed in certain intervals instead of standard idlers as close as possible to the point in the belt conveyor where the belt misalignment occurs - both in the upper and in the lower run of the belt conveyor.
