Welding

Metal active gas welding (MAG) has become established as our standard welding process. It ensures a high-quality, extremely durable joint between the idler shell and the roller base.

In our automated production line, four welding machines weld two tubes simultaneously on both sides to realize a high throughput.

During the welding process, voltage, current, wire speed and the gas supply are permanently controlled automatically to guarantee 100% quality at this point as well.

Other welding processes are used in our special solutions, which are basically tailored to the needs of our customers: manual arc welding, metal inert gas welding (MIG) and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG).
