Connecting links

Depending on the number of idlers in an idler garland, the garlands are called accordingly 2-piece, 3-piece or 5-piece.

In this chapter or subchapters you can find the information about selection of the dimensions of the connecting links for the idler garlands: diameter of the bolt as well as pitch of the lugs depending on the belt width, number of idlers in a garland, idler diameter and idler length.

If the belt width and the roller length increase, the bolt diameter must be selected larger. 
The increase of the idler diameter leads to the increase of the lug pitch "t" (length of the lug).
