Nostalgia instead of current events

01.01.2021

The coronavirus pandemic has us all firmly in its grip and has brought our everyday lives to a standstill. Due to the ban on events, most events were canceled last year. We have therefore decided to take a look at the more positive facts and move into the past.

"My key region - a day for your city"

We are a member of the "Schlüsselregion e.V." association, a network for the Velbert/Heiligenhaus region. Around 200 member companies are brought together, are committed to the region and use the association for contacts and joint projects.

On the "My key region - a day for your city" day of action, companies release one or more employees for one day to realize specific projects for and with a non-profit organization from Velbert & Heiligenhaus

On 17.

At the municipal secondary school in Heiligenhaus, we worked with pupils and teachers to install wooden cladding on the fire escape and also provided greenery in the form of plants.

A touch and feel trail with various stations was created for the nest group of 1-3-year-old children at the campus in Heiligenhaus; we had previously prepared the corresponding logs with the support of the local forester and an employee.

Eignerbachlauf

Our running and walking team took part in the popular Eignerbachlauf for the third time on August 25, 2019. The 9.5 km course around a former sediment station basin in Velbert-Tönisheide was recultivated by Lhoist Germany from 2002. The run is organized by the local club ASV Tönisheide.

We look forward to the next time.

Team event: raft trip across the Ruhr

On August 8, 2019, we went on a raft trip with our team. After a picnic together on the Ruhr, we started building the raft and then paddled along the Ruhr.

This eventful day came to an end with a dinner together.
