To extend the life of rolling bearings and track rollers even under the most extreme conditions, AKT offers a versatile range of surface coatings under the brand name Corrprevent®.

Our surface finishes can provide increased corrosion resistance or wear resistance, or a combination of both, depending on the choice of coating system. After all, wherever machines, equipment and motors move, the rolling bearings and track rollers are not only exposed to the risk of corrosion, but friction also causes material wear and energy loss.

In cooperation with our long-standing, regularly audited, partners, we offer you a wide variety of coating systems, such as zinc coatings, zinc alloy coatings, DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) or even thin chrome coatings. To ensure safe and long-lasting use, all coatings only receive approval for use in practice after extensive testing in our in-house test center.
