Radial insert ball bearing

Features of radial insert ball bearings

Rotary insert ball bearings are single-row assemblies with a widened inner ring and a spherical or cylindrical outer ring. They may be equipped with an optional eccentric locking collar. The internal design is based on single-row deep groove ball bearings. The radial insert ball bearings can usually be relubricated via a lubrication hole in the outer ring.

Loads

For the minimum radial load of radial insert ball bearings, a ratio of Fr/Cr>0.01 is recommended for continuous operation. The values for the dynamic load rating Cr can be found in our product data sheets.

Accuracies

The dimensional and running tolerances of the radial insert ball bearings normally correspond to the tolerance class P0 according to DIN 620-2.

Bearing Clearance

The radial insert ball bearings are designed with the different bearing clearance classes according to DIN 620-4, depending on the application.

Sealing

Tension bearings are sealed depending on the application with weighting systems, which have been specially designed for swivel movement.

Cages

Tension bearings can be equipped with Plastic or metal cages .

Materials

The insert bearings are made in your standard version from the material 1.3505 (100Cr6) and manufactured with a minimum hardness of 58 HRC. On request, corrosion protected versions are available.
