Extension machinery - Hard Tuning machine

The fully automated hard turning Hembrug machine type "micro-turn® 100" brings significant enhancements to the existing production technology!

In contrast to the classic exterior and interior grinding, where the defined geometry of the grinding wheel is usually only characterized by the use of clamping systems; hard turning external and internal machining as well as various profiles can be combined in a single set-up - and this using standard turning tools. Therefore increases flexibility and efficiency with special demands on the workpiece geometry while maintaining extremely high accuracy in terms of shape, bearing tolerance and surface quality.

The machine runs on fully hydrostatic bearings, set on a bed of natural granite with a main spindle rotational accuracy under one micrometer (< 0.1 µm). A twelve fold VDI30-turret, magnetic clamping plate and high-precision air chuck enable the precision processing of workpieces with the smallest µm-range up to an outer diameter of 300 mm and a workpiece weighing up to 200 kg! Integrated workpiece and tool measurement guarantee our quality! A constant production process can be achieved through the short processing times of automated loading and unloading systems and series production.
