Surface coating

To ensure the life time of bearings and track rollers even under extreme conditions, offers AKT a versatile range of surface coatings under the brand name Corrprevent®.

Our surface finishes can allow for an increased corrosion and wear resistance, and also allow for a combination of both properties depending on the choice of the coating system.

In cooperation with our loyal, regularly audited partners, we offer you a wide range of coating systems... i.e. zinc coatings, zinc-alloy coatings, DLC (Diamond Like carbon) or even thin chrome plating. Because whereever over world machines, plants and engines are turnining, there is a high risk of corrosion and wear for the bearings and track rollers.   

The choice of suitable surface coating depends on the application area of the roller bearing and its usage. We're happy to advise you on the best suited processed surface coatings available for your product.
