Presentation at the 29th Bulk Solids Conference in Magdeburg
In 2025, we once again took part in the Bulk Solids Conference in Magdeburg. In our presentation, we introduced the new idler roller test rig at our Bottrop site – designed for realistic testing of idler rollers made of steel and plastic.
The test rig replicates a conveyor system on a reduced scale and enables testing under realistic conditions: loads up to 40 kN, speeds up to 15 m/s as well as the precise measurement of rolling resistance, temperature, runout and balance quality. This ensures the quality of existing and future idler roller designs – efficient, reproducible, and close to real operating conditions.
